This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the community. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's launch, to trainers forming firm opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea naturally: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom appears as constantly furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes Aries much more akin to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and enjoy a strong ally; if you cross them, prepare to face the consequences.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, whether in its standard and Super Form, has aided many trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the Pokémon and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. What about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed love of treats. Several previous official descriptions mention their craving for tasty sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it everything, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this total queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, providing an constant fountain of gossip to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's incredibly easy to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an whole Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its ability to foresee an opponent's future actions, which seems quite like a socially-savvy Gemini.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

Cancer is commonly regarded as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for often becoming wrapped up in their emotions. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer crash-out. Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly judgmental is clearly reflected throughout this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a retirement plan, to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a strategy.

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive being, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are numerous Scales who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them stress even more about others.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Abandoned as a doll, it became sentient through sheer hatred and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. As a Sagittarius personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its description even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to predict disasters in advance? That exudes the identical energy as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently think they’re correct. The thing is, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame sign that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime.
