The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in an LA Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday, according to.
"This is a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his family, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
